Amy Weiss is the Vice President of Marketing of MobyMax, the producer of a K-8 curriculum software that finds and fixing learning gaps in all subjects. MobyMax is used in more than 73% of all K-8 schools in the United States with over 22 million students registered by teachers. MobyMax was named the best e-learning and blended learning solution in the 2016 EdTech Digest Awards and the best multi-level, multi-subject website in the 2015 and 2016 Education Software Review (EDDIE) Awards.
Amy is also the President & CEO of ScreamEngine, an idea company founded in 2010 specializing in corporate positioning, advertising, PR, events, and marketing strategies. She founded the company as a way to continue to help make the brands she has worked with more distinctive, memorable, and, most importantly, profitable. ScreamEngine has served clients in the promotional, consumer-packaged goods, home improvement, and consumer electronics industries. Prior to founding ScreamEngine, Amy was the Chief Marketing Officer at Outbid, an online auction service that combined the theater and transparency of live auctions with social and gaming features. As CMO, she was responsible for all marketing initiatives, branding, and strategic marketing efforts. Prior to that, Amy was Director of Marketing at Woot Wholesale, LLC (www.woot.com), a leading specialty distributor and pioneer of the "one deal a day" business model on the internet. Additionally, Amy has held key marketing executive positions in a variety of industries. As Director of Marketing for CPG, Inc., a leading promotions management and fulfillment provider, Amy was responsible for re-branding the company, strategic positioning, and all marketing initiatives. She was also the Director of Marketing for IC INTRACOM, where she managed and coordinated every facet of this high-technology company’s marketing and communications programs. Amy was Marketing Manager at Catalina Marketing where she chalked up an impressive list of accomplishments during her eight-year tenure. Amy holds an MBA from the University of South Florida.
