Having moved to Florida in 1989, I was introduced to the Hospitality industry through my first job in the Time Share world. Although my positions were mainly administrative and integral in start ups, I quickly found that the Hospitality Industry was my new career.
My Time Share career lasted about 18 years. As things evolved, I landed in the Land Development / Investment Home industry, which eventually lead me to the Vacation Rental/Property Management career I know have. Each step of the way, I had excellent examples and superiors that allowed me to learn as much as possible while I lead my teams, which in turn has allowed me to become the teacher. Over time, all industries have changed with the continued growth of the internet world. It is always a knowledge based opportunity to speak to and work with those that grew up and now work in the digital world. In the ever popular property management world and vacation rental industry, gaining continual knowledge in how to reach potential guests and be able to inform customers in an instant about a product, is very important. I look forward to any opportunity to share my experience with others and to learn more about the world of social media and its benefits for everyone. |
