Mr. Castro currently directs marketing (system integrator alliances & named accounts) at Qlik, which provides a business intelligence and visual analytics platform that supports self-service visualization, guided analytics solutions and dashboards, embedded analytics, and custom reporting for more than 40,000 customers and 1,700 partners covering more than 100 countries.
In his role, he drives the Qlik go-to-market strategy and leads all marketing functions, including market analysis, marketing communications, demand generation and management, partner enablement and relationship management, and performance management. He has more than 15 years of software, hardware, and services management experience in various commercial markets, including finance, healthcare, education, and government. He has presented on a wide variety of channel best practice topics to VARs, SIs, and MSPs at numerous partner events, including sessions at CompTIA, MSPUniversity, SPC International, IngramMicro, Marketo, Kaseya, HTG, Autotask and Qlik. A Qlikkie for 2 years, he also is a high-tech veteran of Tech Data, Kaseya, Skyway Software, and RedVector.com and a former IT management consultant at Arthur Andersen and a former senior engineer at Blasland, Bouck & Lee. He is a graduate of The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania (MBA), La Salle University (MSE), and Allegheny College (BS). |
