Mr. Granizo is an accomplished professional with more than 10 years of experience in different strategy roles, in a wide variety of industries including, Consumer Goods, Healthcare, and Industrial Manufacturing. Currently, he is the Director of Marketing for Latin America, representing Emerson Commercial & Residential Solutions in Brazil, Mexico, the Andean Region and the Southern Cone, where he excels using his fluency as a polyglot in Portuguese, Spanish, French, and English. In this role, he is responsible for implementing all aspects of marketing, including but not limited to, developing enhanced forecasting capabilities and leading the e-Business thrust. In addition, he is also responsible for developing plans to drive sales growth, strengthen brand presence, and execute product launches.
Mr. Granizo began his career at Emerson in Saint Louis in 2012 as the Business Development Coordinator for Latin America. In 2013, he joined Emerson Climate as a Business Development Manager and was additionally given the role of Marketing Director in 2014. Prior to joining Emerson, Mr. Granizo held positions in Marketing at Covidien in New Haven, Connecticut, and in Research, Development, & Quality for Kraft Foods in Brazil and Ecuador.
A native of Ecuador, Mr. Granizo graduated from Zamorano University in Honduras with a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture. He also received his Master of Science in Food Processing & Engineering from Purdue University and received his MBA from the prestigious Yale University. In his free time, Mr. Granizo enjoys competitive sports and is a skilled soccer player.
