Diego Granizo
Emerson General Manager - Andean, Central America & Caribbean Mr. Granizo is an accomplished professional with more than 12 years of experience in diverse strategy roles across a wide variety of industries, including Consumer Goods, Healthcare, and Industrial Manufacturing. Currently, he is the Emerson Commercial & Residential Solutions General Manager for the Andean, Central America, & Caribbean Region. In this role, he is responsible for developing all aspects of business expansion, including but not limited to, implementing sales growth initiatives and leading the commercial teams in Colombia and Costa Rica. He began his career at Emerson in Saint Louis, Missouri, in 2012 as the Business Development Coordinator for Latin America. In 2013, he joined Emerson Climate as a Business Development Manager and was additionally given the role of Marketing Director in 2014. In 2020, he was appointed General Manager of the Andean Region. Prior to joining Emerson, Mr. Granizo held positions in Marketing at Covidien in New Haven, Connecticut, and in Research, Development & Quality for Kraft Foods in Brazil and Ecuador. As a native of Ecuador, Mr. Granizo pursued his Bachelor of Science in Agriculture at Zamorano University, Honduras, received his Master of Science in Food Processing & Engineering from Purdue University, Indiana and received his Master of Business Administration from Yale University, Connecticut. Mr. Granizo is fluent in Spanish, Portuguese, French, and English. In his free time, he enjoys competitive sports and is a skilled soccer player. He completed the Miami Marathon and annually joins his fellow Emerson colleagues to run the annual Fort Lauderdale Corporate 5K. |
