Don is the Western Regional Employee Relations Manager with BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina. There, he is responsible for all human resource services and is a trusted advisor to the companies under the BlueCross BlueShield corporate system.
After 26 years of service, he retired with the US Air Force as the Human Resource Advisor for the State of Tennessee. During that time, he spent 20 years as a civil engineer project manager traveling around the world working on humanitarian aid projects for the Department of Defense. Afterwards he worked for the Department of Homeland Security. He is a veteran of Operation Nobel Eagle, Operation Enduring Freedom and the War on Terror. Don is a graduate of Trevecca Nazarene University with a Master’s Degree in Business Management and Human Relations Management. He also holds degrees in Civil Engineering Technology and Mass Communication. Don is a Certified Federal Mediator and is a member of the MHR Endowment Board at Trevecca University. He and his artist wife Penelope Jane, make their home in the wooded hills of Gallatin Tennessee. |
