Don Mitchell is the Director of Marketing at Transflo, a technology company that focuses on the freight logistics space. He oversees all marketing programs, PR initiatives, and branding for the company.
Prior to joining Transflo, Don worked for several communications agencies holding down several positions including executive-level marketing, sales and account management positions. He is responsible for award-winning communications for several Fortune 500 companies including: The Coca-Cola Company, Delta Airlines, BellSouth, Neenah Paper, RockTenn Company (now WestRock) and more. Don’s strengths include his creativity, collaboration, leadership, and plethora of dad jokes. He thrives on challenges, especially engineering turnaround projects that result in historically high KPI’s. Over the last 12 months, in his current role, Don has seen an increase of 321% in opened opportunities and closed-won improvements of 225%. He also has experience as a public speaker with presentations at FreightWaves, National Investor Relations Institute, American Marketing Association and several presentations for the JPK Group which include Marrying SEO to Social Media & Social Media Strategic Framework. Don Holds a bachelors degree in Mass Communications from Virginia Tech, where he also earned a varsity letter in wrestling. He also has a Six Sigma certification form Emory University’s Goizueta Business School. |
