Elissa’s career can best be described as “non-traditional.” From managing recording studios and artists, she quickly transitioned into Los Angeles’ “Silicon Beach” startup world. Elissa was an early employee of Machinima, a video game and entertainment-focused MCN. There, she built the network’s Online Marketing department and created strategies that drove over 1+ Billion monthly YouTube views for the network.
In 2012, she joined theAudience, the social media startup founded by Sean Parker, Ari Emanuel and Oliver Luckett. From emotional and award-winning content like Bjork’s Biophilia App and the Dove Real Beauty Sketches to the viral “Selfie” music video that launched The Chainsmokers to superstardom, Elissa drove strategic social media integrations for theAudience’s 600+ celebrity, brand, and music clients. She oversaw the transformation of the startup into one of the first multiplatform influencer agencies, creating a new model of Millennial and Gen-Z focused content marketing that has been adopted across the industry. After briefly joining the Ayzenberg creative agency to oversee the Microsoft and Xbox accounts, Elissa returned to her music roots. She currently heads the Fan Engagement department for Warner Bros. Records where she focuses on building artist brands and creating compelling, fan-centric online experiences. In her free time, she watches too many nature documentaries and tries to keep her cat Hallow from eating her shoes. |
