Kate Hartig has over twenty years of leading-edge experience in Sales, Marketing, e-Commerce and Customer Relationship Management. Her professional background includes leadership roles with ESPN,
Young & Rubicam, Wyndham Destinations and Disney Parks & Resorts. She specializes in leveraging technology to drive successful campaign initiatives in the travel & leisure, sports, media and resort industries. Kate is currently the Director of E-Commerce & Digital Marketing for Extra Holidays, the rental division of the world’s largest vacation ownership company. Prior to joining Wyndham Destinations, Kate was a Professor in the Graduate Business Program at Full Sail University where she developed the Sports Marketing & Sponsorship curriculum, as well as taught marketing, branding, and product development courses. From 2005-2009 Kate was the Director of Marketing at ESPN Outdoors, where she led the marketing, creative, membership services and promotional initiatives for three publications, two websites, licensed products and eleven events that are broadcast annually on ESPN2. Prior to working with ESPN, Kate was the Senior Manager of Business Integration for Disney Sales & Travel Operations and she also was a leader on the Walt Disney Parks & Resorts Customer Relationship Management team. Kate is active with several local economic development, youth sports, and arts initiatives including being a former member of the Osceola County Junior Achievement Board, the Marketing Board of the Orlando Ballet and the Board of the Boone High School Foundation. Kate received a BA in Business Administration from Loyola University and her MBA with honors from the University of Central Florida. |
