As Nielsen’s Senior Vice President of Internal Audit, Kevin M. Alvero leads the company’s worldwide internal quality audit program and its industry standards compliance initiatives, spanning Nielsen's Television, Digital, and Consumer products and services. He is a Certified Fraud Examiner and a member of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE), Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA), and Information Systems Audit and Controls Association (ISACA), where he serves on the Board of Governors for the Florida West Coast Chapter. Kevin began his career with Nielsen in 2003, executing quality assessment engagements throughout North America, and later served in numerous internal audit roles before being named to his current position in 2010. In addition to his audit expertise, Kevin possesses more than a decade of experience with traditional audience measurement, as well as digital ad measurement. He has also held quality-assurance roles with VNU media and Reebok. Since receiving his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of South Florida Kevin has remained an active alumnus, currently serving on the Marketing Department Advisory Board for the University of South Florida Muma College of Business. Kevin also earned his MBA from Rochester Institute of Technology.
