Lana Champion is the Southeast Senior Vice President of Sales for Gatehouse Media. She oversees a Senior leadership team of four regional VP's and one Senior Digital Director responsible for 34 markets and 350 sales executives across the southeast markets: Florida, Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Virginia.
She's responsible for the strategic direction and management of all sales, including market competitiveness, pricing, compensation, and channel strategy. After graduating with a journalism degree from the University of Florida, she started her career at The Florida Times-Union as an account executive in 1996. She quickly moved up within the company focusing on start-ups and new product launches. Lana ran the advertising, editorial, circulation and production departments for four community publications as Director of Community Publications/GM, was Publishing Director of three magazine titles and in 2006, Lana became the Display Advertising Director where she served for five years before her promotion to VP. She was Vice President of Sales and Marketing for seven years and in 2018, she was promoted to SE Senior Vice-President of Sales. Lana is based in the Jacksonville market. She's passionate about helping businesses connect buyers and sellers in our rapidly evolving marketing environment. |
