Laura Garcia is a marketing and sales veteran with over 20 years leading high performing global marketing teams. As Senior Manager of Marketing for Americas, Laura is responsible for the Americas launch, messaging, and demand strategy for Magento Commerce. Prior, she managed Oracle Marketing Cloud’s Global Event strategy and execution focused on white-space branding, lead generation and thought leadership messaging. She led Oracle’s presence at National Retail Federation, SXSW, Cannes Lions, Dmexco, Advertising Week, Mobile World Congress and others aligning those activations with lead flow. Prior to this role, Laura’s has worked for notable brands in both a sales and marketing capacity for Nestle, Lanyon, Cvent, Walt Disney Parks & Resorts, Swissotel, Marriott, and Tampa Convention Center. This assortment of industry experience provides a unique perspective on strategic positioning, ROI evaluation, messaging, and customer-focused “magical moments”.
Laura is a graduate of Florida State University, holds a MBA from University of Central Florida, obtained a Lean Six Sigma Greenbelt from University of South Florida and lives in Tampa with her husband and one very-well-traveled 5-year old. |
