Marnie has a diverse history of marketing and marketing-related work primarily in the sports and fitness industries. She has recently taken on a new role as the Director of New Membership Acquisition and Corporate Partnerships for the YMCA of Greater Seattle, which is one of the top 10 YMCA Associations in the nation, leading the way in nonprofit management, development and marketing.
Prior to this current role, Marnie was in Tampa serving as the Global Director of Athlete Development for IRONMAN and the Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon Series, building engagement programs for athletes across the globe. Before heading to IRONMAN, Marnie was the Northwest Regional Director of Marketing for Flywheel Sports, a national boutique indoor cycling and barre brand, where she was a part of the corporate marketing team for the national organization and oversaw all of the marketing initiatives from Seattle through the Bay Area in Northern CA. In addition, Marnie has previously been a small business owner, and an educator.
Marnie holds an MBA from the University of Washington Foster School of Business Executive MBA Program as well as both an MA and BS in the field of Sport Management from San Jose State University.
