At her core, Melissa is a visionary leader. She is passionate about belonging and connection and is skilled at fostering both. Her ability to engage people’s hearts and minds with thoughts, words and deeds is an innate power that has proven valuable throughout her career in sales and marketing. Presently, Melissa is a content marketing manager at Arcadis, the leading global design and consultancy firm for natural and built assets (www.arcadis.com). In this role, she uses thought leadership and integrated marketing to transform the Arcadis brand voice from capabilities-forward to customer-centric.
Melissa is an active member of several communities of practice at Arcadis: Strategy and innovation, customer experience, digital transformation, and diversity and inclusion, to name a few. She also serves as the outreach chair of the SWAN Americas Alliance. Melissa is a proud alumnus of the University of South Florida where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communications, a general business certificate from the Muma College of Business and an event and meeting planning certificate from the Office of Corporate Training and Professional Education.
She also completed training in human-centered innovation from the LUMA Institute, which she applies to all aspects of her life—from mapping the customer’s journey to building consensus and setting priorities. Volunteerism and activism are also important to Melissa. She is currently a volunteer wish granter with the Make-A-Wish Foundation and was a recipient of the Kenneth J.
