Mr. Schackne is a Florida licensed Professional Geologist with over 32 years of experience building valued business relationships, managing multi-discipline operations, and project management. Mr. Schackne served as Chairman of the University of South Florida Geology Alumni Society from 2007 to 2012 and as a guest lecturer since 2007. As a 2019 graduate of the Tampa Chamber of Commerce - Leadership Tampa program, Mr. Schackne has a proven track record of business development, management of profitable operations, as well as, recruitment and development of multi-disciplined staff. He has an outstanding professional history of performing environmental consulting services ranging from Environmental Site Assessments to the development of Brownfield Redevelopment strategies for both public and private sector clients. Mr. Schackne has excellent leadership skills working collaboratively with team members to generate short and long term strategic plans and policy implementation.
Mr. Schackne routinely presents at several Brownfields and Economic Development conferences on various subjects including innovative site assessment techniques and approaches, risk-based corrective action and remedial strategy development, site planning, community outreach and stakeholder involvement, and project team development, and risk management. |
