Mitchell Weisberg is the Managing Director of Lumen Solutions, Inc. and a Faculty member of Northeastern University and SKEMA French International Business School. He is the manager for SKEMA Ventures – Raleigh. He has over 30 years of leadership and advising executives on Strategic Planning Execution for High Business Performance and Balanced Scorecard. Mr. Weisberg has led organizations in the private and public sectors to achieve greater performance and profitability through Balanced Scorecard, process improvement, and IT/business alignment. He started several companies and acted as mentor/advisor to numerous new ventures and start-ups. Mr. Weisberg leads consulting and advisory engagements globally and across industries, and has worked with clients and taught courses worldwide and worked with partners in the US and globally. He has broad cross-industry and extensive international experience.
He was Director of International Business at the Balanced Scorecard Institute, Global Practice Leader for Business Performance Services at HP and Group Director of Strategic Planning at Motorola. He led global practices at Arthur D. Little and Nolan, Norton/KPMG, and Towers/Watson. Mr. Weisberg was a member of the team that developed the Balanced Scorecard. At SKEMA Business School, Mr. Weisberg teaches courses in Corporate Governance, Strategy, Entrepreneurship and Innovation, and Design Thinking. He taught at Sawyer Business School, Univ. Massachusetts and Northeastern University. He is an Industry Scholar at the Cornell University Institute for Healthy Futures, was on the Advisory Board of the IBM Innovation Center for Performance Management, and a Fellow of the Sawyer Business School Center for Innovation and Change Leadership. Mr. Weisberg received his B.S. from Cornell University in Engineering and his M.S. from University of North Carolina, and the Wharton Business School Advanced Marketing Management Executive Program. He is fluent in Spanish and French. |
