With a background in Communications and PR from Berry College, I began my career at the Suwannee River Water Management District as a Communications Coordinator. In 2006, I joined First Federal Bank, a hometown community bank, as the PR/Marketing Coordinator. Being one of a two-person team, I wore many hats including local contribution requests, coordinating events, ad and campaign creation, and more. Over the years, my role expanded as I stepped in to Marketing Director and ultimately Corporate Communications and Marketing Manager.
Early on we identified the need for our bank to shift it's traditional marketing approach to the ever-changing digital realm. The first step was developing a strategy for social media and we became one of the first community banks to have a Facebook page. Fast forward to today where our digital marketing strategy is rapidly growing and pushing boundaries in our organization. When I'm not busy organizing multi-touch campaigns, I love spending time with my family, especially my husband and 1-year-old daughter. We love to experience new things through travel and food. |
