Always driving with passion, Paola Calvo Florido has built a career working with nonprofits on communication and marketing strategies that work.
Originally from Bolivia, she moved to the United States to pursue a career in journalism, publishing her first article at the age of 15. Through her passion for social justice, she saw a need for communication and marketing support within nonprofits. Today, she works with Lutheran Services Florida, a service-based nonprofit organization touching the lives of 1 in 5 Floridians across the state. As a creative services specialist, she maintains branding across the organization and develops digital marketing strategies for awareness and recruitment in diverse markets. A proud USF alumni, she has also worked on local, statewide, and national campaigns with organizations including the American Civil Liberties Union of Florida and the Florida Immigrant Coalition. Blending a passion for communications and marketing, Paola co-founded Tall Llama Marketing in 2016, a communications and marketing consulting firm to help nonprofits and small businesses amplify their reach with result-led strategies. |
