Pepper White is responsible for developing and overseeing Golf Channel’s on-air and digital marketing as well as creative and promotional strategies, in addition to aligning the network’s marketing efforts across the golf lifestyle and digital business portfolio.
She most recently served as Vice President, Strategic Marketing Initiatives for NBCUniversal where she oversaw key Symphony priorities and was charged with identifying creative and innovative opportunities to leverage the combined assets of the company to promote NBCUniversal programming, movies, parks and events, as well as Comcast products and services. Previously, as Senior Director, Promotion and Integration at Golf Channel (2012-2015), White was responsible for all promotional planning, integration and creative, off-network media and promotion, and Golf Channel’s NBCU Symphony efforts. She also was a key member of the team that helped launch Golf Channel Academy instruction facilities. Prior, White held various other marketing roles at Comcast Cable. In the Central Division (2010-2012), she was responsible for the consolidation and oversight of system media budgets totaling $120MM+, contributing to the Division exceeding business goals across all products. While at Comcast Cable Headquarters, she was responsible for marketing communications efforts to launch home phone service and a Comcast brand campaign – the latter named AdWeek’s Campaign of the Year. Prior to joining Comcast in 2004, White spent six years at advertising agencies including J. Walter Thompson and The Richards Group working across consumer goods, financial, retail, travel and telecom industries. She is a graduate of the University of Georgia with a B.A. in Journalism/Advertising from the Grady College of Journalism and Mass Communication, home of the Peabody Awards. |
