Rich Strehl serves as Vice President of Resource Development at AMIkids, Inc. in Tampa, Florida. AMIkids, headquartered in Tampa, works to give at-risk youth a second chance in life. Rich has over 11 years of nonprofit experience having served as Director of Development for The Community Foundation of Tampa Bay and Center for Great Apes. He serves as Chair of the School Advisory Committee at Winthrop Charter School in Riverview, Florida and is a member of the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary in Brandon, Florida. Rich attended Central Texas College and served five years honorably in the U.S. Army Military Police Corps at Fort Hood, Texas, Guantanamo Bay Cuba and Grand Turk Island. In 2010, he became the author of Building Foundations By Setting Goals; Outskirts Press.
Rich grew up in Apollo Beach, Florida and lives in Brandon with his wife Jen, daughter Cheyenne and son Ricky. As a family they love camping, fishing, boating, diving and anything outdoors. Everyone in his family is a certified scuba diver and Rich is a PADI Divemaster. Some of their favorite past times as a family are at their property in Bell, Florida and vacations in Key West. |
